Gahden Gremlins: A Brief Letter To A Handful Of Folks In Vancouver

    gahdengremlins:

    Grow up.

Milan Lucic just won a Stanley Cup, the greatest achievement in all of hockey. He wanted to bring it to Vancouver to share with his supporters. But because you all can’t handle the fact that he beat your hometown team to do it, he’s going to keep his day with the Cup private.

    seguin shouldn’t be with 46/17

seguin is a great player. that said, and bear with me here, krejci and lucic are like savard and kessel used to be. they always find each other, usually krejc finding looch. but 91/81 had 17 to run interference and clear paths for them. looch isn’t as defencive this season, so horton really needs to be back on that line to be the 07-08 lucic of 10-11, but with even better results than 17/91/81. just sayin.

Thornton Sparked B's to Big Win

    nhlbruins:

The Boston Bruins played like a club that had something to prove and defeated the Atlanta Thrashers  4-1 on Thursday night thanks to a full game effort in front of a sellout TD Garden crowd of 17, 565

The Bruins, who have sold out every game in the 2010 calendar year (regular season and playoffs) for the first time since the Stanley Cup Championship year of 1972,  came into the contest with four losses out of their last five games and looked to bounce back before the two day NHL holiday break.

B’s winger Shawn Thornton kicked off the B’s bounce back just two second into the game when he fought Thrasher tough guy Eric Boulton. Thornton then followed up the fisticuffs with two goals, his sixth and seventh of the season, to set a new career high and earn his second career two goal effort.

Milan Lucic's Sucker Punch of Freddy Meyer Was Pretty Wrong, But Not Completely

    socktape:

The difference, though, with Lucic is that on his way off the ice, he challenged the entire Atlanta bench, as if to say, “Yeah, I’ll see you guys next Thursday night at your place, and we can talk about that punch.” He knew it went against the code, but he was willing to accept the consequences. That might include a suspension, but the energy provided Thursday night should make a game or two’s absence for Lucic more acceptable.

    BRING IT ON!
